D23 Expo, way too fun. Even though I only went two days, and I didn’t get to do everything I wanted to, I loved every minute of it and had such a blast. I’ll be writing about it, and I promise it will get posted, hopefully sooner than later. Next year though, the whole shebang. All four days, no exceptions!


And my Queen costume is officially my baby.

Just at D23 Expo alone, she’s gotten me my photo taken by two newspapers as well as filmed and interviewed by the OC Register for dressing up as her, along with a number of casual pictures and numerous compliments, both from con-goers and celebrities. To think, what was originally used for Halloween and then for my first cosplay almost three years ago is now my most popular costume. And to even believe the Evil Queen scared the crap out of me for the longest time! I’m so glad that I grew a backbone over the years and grew to love her, or else none of this would have ever happened. I’m never retiring her. Though I hope to retire the actual outfit itself (so I can make a better version), she will not be disappearing EVER!!!!! So thank you ever so much Walt Disney, Art Babbitt, and Lucille LaVerne for creating such an amazing (and sinister) character. She has given me so much, not just attention but a lot of fun, a lot of memories, and just so much happiness.
